Virtual School & Browne Jacobson SEND Training Morning
Bookings now open!
Date & Time: Wednesday 25 March 2026 - 8.45am - 1pm
Venue: Ash Manor School
Audience: Designated Teachers, SENCOs and Heads
The Southwest Quadrant is pleased to invite Designated Teachers, SENCOs and Heads to a focused morning of training.
The morning will begin with a session delivered by the Surrey Virtual School (9.00–10.30am), outlining the Virtual School’s remit, key resources, and forthcoming changes for Designated Teachers, with a strong focus on inclusion and supporting cohorts within the Virtual School’s remit.
This will be followed by a two-hour training session delivered by Browne Jacobson, aimed at SENCOs and Heads, to support the effective use of the recently purchased SEND packs, funded by Surrey Secondary Phase Council on behalf of member schools.
Please complete this form to confirm attendance and help us plan catering and resources.
Programme for the morning:
8.45am – Arrival
9.00am–10.30am – Surrey Virtual School
10.30am – Coffee break
11.00am-1:00pm – Browne Jacobson SEND Pack Training Session
This is a trial session, and if it is well supported and proves valuable, our intention is to repeat it across the other quadrants. We are keen for Southwest to lead the way and help shape what this could look like longer term.
