Our Voice Matters Survey
A notice from Cammie Evans, Surrey Youth Cabinet Participation Lead, User Voice and Participation Team
I’m pleased to share with you the findings from the recent Our Voice Matters Survey, which 435 young people between the age of 7-25 in Surrey completed. The survey was co-produced between Surrey Youth Voice staff and a steering group of young people, helping ensure that the questions reflected what really matters to them.
The findings highlight young people’s views on key issues such as health and wellbeing, community and the environment. We plan to use these insights to inform Surrey Youth Voice projects, back up existing and future action cards, shape our priorities and ensure young people’s views are reflected in decision making.
We’d love to hear how you and your organisation might use these findings. Please do let us know — we are keen to feedback to young people on how their contributions are making a difference across the community.
